£36,363 to £39,862 pro rata per year. This is a part time post (18.5 hours) for the right individual to be responsible for providing financial advice and support to Governing Bodies and headteachers of a cluster of primary and special schools. This post is agile but will involve face‑to‑face meetings at schools.

This post is for the right individual to play an important role in the Accountancy Section of the Finance department. You will be responsible for providing financial advice and support to Governing Bodies and headteachers of a cluster of primary and special schools.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Budget preparation
  • Budget monitoring
  • Closing the schools accounts
  • Providing financial information

You will be working closely with the other Primary Support Officers within the team and the Group Accountant Schools.
