Tre Uchaf Primary School is a positive and inclusive school. We are seeking two excellent Teaching Assistants who are looking to progress within the Teaching Assistant role. The hours of work are 20 hours a week, 10am until 2pm, Monday to Friday in our specialist teaching facility. This is a temporary post for one term initially starting 1 September 2026.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Have high expectations both for children and themselves.
- Have excellent communication skills and be committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
- Support a bespoke curriculum meeting the needs of all our learners in the class.
- Enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning.
- Be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
Childcare qualifications, a good understanding of working with children with ALN and having effective ICT skills to enhance learning could prove advantageous.
