£46,142 to £50,269 per year. Swansea Council's Housing Service is seeking a suitably experienced manager with a strong background in housing management and operational service leadership to lead the Neighbourhood Support Unit, supporting the Council's responsibilities as a social landlord.
The role also includes responsibility for the management and governance of the City Centre CCTV Service. As the Neighbourhood Support Unit Manager within Swansea Council's Housing Service, you will play a key role in supporting the Council's responsibilities as a social landlord by promoting safe, well managed and sustainable housing estates.
The role provides leadership to a 24/7 operational service delivering tenant support, reassurance and responses to antisocial behaviour, and managing key housing assets including the Housing CCTV Service and remote concierge systems.
You will work closely with Area Housing Offices, tenancy and support services, and external partners to ensure effective neighbourhood management, safeguarding and legal compliance. The post involves managing staff, budgets and contracts, and contributing to housing policy, service development and continuous improvement to deliver high quality housing management outcomes.
Alongside the Housing Service responsibilities, the post holder also has management responsibility for the City Centre CCTV Service, ensuring effective operation, governance and legal compliance in line with Council requirements.
