The predicted salary is between 8 - 8 £ per hour.

£8.00 per hour (in the first year). Swansea Council's Building Services Department is responsible for maintaining the Council's Public Buildings and Housing stock. We are currently looking to recruit 5 apprentices for our September 2026 programme. The apprenticeship opportunities for 2026 will be:

  • 1x Plumber
  • 2x Electricians
  • 1x Plasterer
  • 1x Carpenter

The apprenticeship programme will run for up to 4 years.

Recruitment Process:

  • Application Form - Advert will run from 23 February 2026 to 15 March 2026
  • Invite for Assessment - April 2026
  • Short list for TEAMS/Telephone Interview - April/May 2026
  • Short list for Face to Face Interview - April/May 2026
  • Successful Applicants Recruited - June/July 2026
