Bishopston Primary School is seeking to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and skilled team of professionals in our happy and caring school. The successful candidate will have the desire and energy to work with children, including children with additional learning needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • supporting learners to achieve their full potential
  • facilitating high quality learning activities
  • delivering and embedding therapy programmes
  • delivering outdoor learning sessions
  • delivering a programme for the development of social communication and interaction skills
  • modifying the curriculum to ensure it is accessed
  • monitoring IDP targets
  • supporting learning in groups
  • taking an active role in the life of the school
