About the Role
As a Senior Social Worker, you will:
- Lead on the Early Identification of Family and Friends Carers, helping to secure stable, long-term care arrangements within children\’s extended family networks.
- Assess, support, and retain foster carers within the Local Authority, ensuring children and young people receive safe, resilient, and loving care.
- Manage a varied caseload and work alongside other Senior Social Workers, Social Workers and Support Officers to deliver high-quality assessments and support to families.
What We\’re Looking For
- Experienced, motivated senior-level social workers with a strong understanding of kinship care and/or mainstream fostering.
- A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and families.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and team-working skills.
