Responsibilities
- Managing own diverse clinical caseload of adults or paediatric patients in designated hospital, community and outpatient settings, including planning, implementing and evaluating nutrition and dietetic interventions in conjunction with unit clinical lead dietitian.
- Providing specialist nutrition and dietetic advice to designated in‑patient/out‑patient and community/domiciliary services and group education programmes.
- Participating in teaching, presenting, research, audit and service development within designated areas.
- Participating in promotion and development of dietetic services within the organisation in conjunction with colleagues.
- Traveling/undertaking clinical work across the Swansea Bay UHB area to support service delivery, working directly and indirectly with patients and families in outpatient clinics, community groups and in homes when necessary.
- Providing case management for persons presenting with Long Covid, ME/CFS, other post‑viral conditions, fibromyalgia, chronic pain and similar conditions; working closely with the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service and possibly handling a respiratory caseload.
