An exciting opportunity has arisen within Swansea Bay University Health Board for a dietitian to join the Public Health Dietetics team. This post is fixed term until 30th September ****, to support the delivery of accredited education programmes including the Food and Fun programme.

Main duties of the job include:

  • The team focuses on health promotion and prevention, to improve the health and wellbeing of local people and future generations.
  • The team works with partners to build the capacity of communities, working through our Nutrition Skills for Life programmes to support healthy lifestyles and prevent malnutrition.
  • Our aim is to equip community-based staff with evidence-based food and nutrition knowledge and skills, so they can incorporate key nutrition messages into their work.

The post holder will have an interest in both Public Health and working with communities. You will be an excellent communicator and experience of assessment and quality assurance would be helpful.
