We are looking for an experienced Sonographer who wants a new challenge near the beautiful Gower coastline. This bank post will be based at Neath Port Talbot Hospital, an elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery centre.
Main duties
- Join a dynamic, enthusiastic ultrasound team and work alongside supportive radiologists.
- Perform a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, gynaecological, obstetric, vascular, MSK and sonographer‑led acute imaging.
- Develop both clinical and leadership skills in a bank role.
- Use Samsung ultrasound units – 2 antenatal and 3 general rooms are available.

Person specification – Essential
- HCPC registration and BSc in Radiography
- Ultrasound postgraduate qualification (PgC, PgD or MSc)
- FMF nuchal accreditation
- Current professional registration (HCPC/NMC)

- Knowledge of clinical governance and its application in radiology departments
- Welsh language skills (desirable)
- Good interpersonal and counselling skills
