Reporting to the Director of Insight, Communications and Engagement, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, direction and administration of the Charity, ensuring strong governance, effective fundraising and the responsible use of charitable funds.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and delivery of the Charity's strategy and business plans.
- Advising and supporting the Board of Trustees and Charitable Funds Committee to meet their governance and statutory duties.
- Growing income through strategic fundraising, partnerships and major donor relationships.
- Acting as custodian of the Charity's brand and raising its profile.
- Ensuring robust financial management, compliance and value for money.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
You will be a senior charity professional with strong experience in fundraising, charity operations or strategic income generation, and a sound understanding of governance and financial stewardship. You will be confident working with Trustees and senior stakeholders, an effective communicator, and motivated by delivering meaningful social impact.
Experience of the NHS or health charities is welcome but not essential; we are keen to hear from candidates who can bring fresh thinking and best practice from the wider charity sector into an NHS context. If you are passionate about using charitable resources to make a real difference, this role offers the chance to do so at scale within a values-driven public service organisation.
