Health Care Support Worker Vacancy Band 3. Have you ever thought what it would be like to work as a Health Care Support Worker within Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Services? We are looking for a hardworking, caring, compassionate and empathetic Health Care Support Worker to come and join our enthusiastic and dedicated team. If you’re passionate about delivering the best care possible, have excellent communication skills and are willing to work as part of a committed and skilled multi-disciplinary team then we would love to hear from you.

Advert:

The post holder will be responsible for following care plans and recording all personally generated observations and documenting care given in individual’s notes. If you have previous experience working within a healthcare setting and/or healthcare qualifications, we are very keen to hear from you. You will be undertaking a vital role in maintaining quality care and be part of the recovery of our patients. You will be carrying out several assigned clinical and care tasks related with direct patient care which can have a truly remarkable impact.

Key duties include:

  • Recording of Daily Observations and how patients present themselves
  • Supporting patients to have a structured day
  • Escorting patients within the community
  • Vital Signs
  • Manual Handling
  • Infection Prevention and Control
  • Safeguarding
  • Hydration & Nutrition checks
