Overview
Our client is looking to recruit several Warehouse Operator to join a friendly team within a well-established company. We are seeking motivated & drive candidates who want to learn new skills and gain new experiences to progress within their career.
Responsibilities
- Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
- Assist with the unloading of vehicles and the checking-in of stock. Sorting and placing materials or items onto racks, and shelves.
- Be responsible for picking specified items from storage or warehouses and prepare them for shipment.
- Pick and pack products which includes unboxing, labelling, re-boxing and stacking products on pallets.
What we need from you
- Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures β essential
- Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
- Must be able to work 4 on 4 off shifts
- Must be able to work from 6:00am β 18:00
- Working in a multi-dimensional warehouse with ambient, chilled, alcohol and freezer environment on rotation
- Immediate start dates are available
Pay & Contract
Pay Rate: Β£12.21 Per hour
Contract Type: Permanent (Part Time) 20 hours per week.
Shift patterns: Tue β Sat 5am till 9am
