Duties
- General warehouse duties
- Manual handling
- Operate machinery safely and in line with production plans, understanding KPIs and downtime impact
- Manufacture kitchen products such as panels and frontals
Shifts & Salary
- Roles involve alternative shifts: early (6-2), late (2-10), and night (10-6).
- Starting salary (depending on experience) is £12.21/hr. After training, salary increases to £12.95/hr with potential for further advancement.
- Shift allowances: 16% for rotating shifts, 30% for nights, with overtime at 1.5x and double time.
Levels of Machine Operators
- Trainee Machinists (£12.21ph): Training plan to reach Grade 3 and 4
- Grade 3 (£12.95ph): Ability to make machine adjustments, read CAD drawings
- Grade 4 (£13.34ph): Adjustments, tooling, creating machine programs
- Grade 5 (£13.74ph): Advanced skills, creating programs, adjustments
