We are seeking a dedicated and proactive 'hands on' Team Manager to join our client's dynamic team in Salisbury. This position is on a full-time permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to lead and mentor a team of 6-12 to achieve all production targets in line with customer Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD) expectations and company policies & procedures.
Ensure effective material expediting is carried out aligned to customer requirements (including internal customers) and area turnaround targets are met. The Team Manager will be leading the manufacturing team in a number of areas:
- Tube cutting
- Tube deburring
- Tube degreasing/washing
- Tube end forming
- Tube bending inc. measurement of pipes
- May also include Braze Assembly & Furnace Brazing
Main Duties:
- Ensure correct allocation of resources in line with production/customer requirements.
- Maintain the company's quality objectives in line with the requirements of TS16949:2016 and ISO9001:2015.
- Review all manufacturing processes within your area of responsibility with the review acting as a basis for the development of Continuous Improvement activities.
- Monitor and manage manufacturing direct input hours and reduce/eliminate premium rate working (when and where possible and in line with a labour to sales target).
