Hours: 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday

We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative on behalf of our client. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a long-term position, with the potential to secure a permanent contract following a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within a busy recycling and waste management yard
  • Sorting and separating recyclable materials
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse, yard operative, labouring or similar hands-on experience
  • Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
  • Able to work in a noisy industrial environment
  • Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
  • Safety boots are required

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence
  • Previous forklift operating experience
  • Experience working within a recycling, waste management or similar environment
