Fire & Security Engineer Somerset
Full-Time | Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our team, covering the Somerset area. This is a permanent, full-time role offering stability, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
The Role
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will:

Carry out scheduled planned maintenance across a monthly rota (organised by our office team).

Respond to reactive service calls and provide on-call support when required.

Ensure all systems are serviced and maintained in line with British Standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
You should have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with:

Addressable & Conventional Fire Alarm Systems

Remote Signalling Systems (Redcare & Dualcom)

Emergency Lighting Systems

CCTV & Intruder Alarm Systems

Access Control Systems

Relevant British Standards
Requirements
-
Proven background in fire & security system maintenance and servicing (particularly fire alarms).

Ability to pass full security vetting (NPPV2).

Full UK driving licence (essential).

Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Hours
-
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (typically 7:30am4:30pm).
