Swanky is looking for a talented Mid-Level Shopify Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Exeter, Devon.

What you'll do
- Collaborate with the design team to translate wireframes and mockups into functional Shopify themes that are both aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly.
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps and features that enhance the platform's functionality and improve the overall customer experience.
- Optimize website performance by implementing best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of web applications across various devices and screen sizes.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and share knowledge with team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to frontend performance and functionality, providing timely resolutions.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services into Shopify applications.

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on Shopify or similar e Commerce platforms.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Java Script, with a solid understanding of modern frontend frameworks and libraries.
- Experience with Shopify Liquid templating language and familiarity with Shopify's APIs and app ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and techniques, ensuring optimal user experience across all devices.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, for collaborative development and code management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
