Location: UK (remote, with travel to client meetings, our Exeter office and team days as needed)

This is a strategic, commercially focussed retainer offering with a proven framework for delivering sustained, long‑term growth on Shopify. Our clients typically want more than a development agency; they need a strategic growth partner.

The role involves supporting our growth by hiring an experienced commercial operator to help scale our Growth Accelerator service. This is a consultative sales role where you will manage inbound interest in our Growth Accelerator service and proactively grow this demand. You’ll work closely with the Growth Accelerator team, GTM Team Lead, Commercial Director and senior stakeholders across Swanky to shape solutions that reflect what each client actually needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead demand generation for our Growth Accelerator services, in line with Swanky’s wider business plan and strategic priorities.
  • Attend relevant events and dinners with clients, prospective clients and members of the GTM and Growth Accelerator teams.
  • Qualify and lead inbound opportunities for Growth Accelerator services, from first contact through to signed SOW.
  • Run tailored discovery sessions to understand each client’s commercial goals, current performance landscape and growth ambitions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Growth Accelerator team – CRO, SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Creative & Content and TikTok Shop specialists – to shape the right solution for each client.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Swanky's technology partners and relevant platform contacts to stay close to the market.
  • Track and manage opportunities through our CRM, contributing to accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting.

What we’re looking for:

  • Several years of relevant experience within the Shopify ecosystem – probably in a digital agency or brand/retail context.
  • Deep understanding of the Shopify platform and partner landscape, with specialist knowledge in one or more of: SEO, Pay‑Per‑Click advertising, Paid Social and organic social strategy, TikTok Shop strategy and management.
  • A consultative, solutions‑oriented commercial mindset, with confidence running discovery and building proposals – both technical and strategic.
  • The ability to work autonomously where required, but also lead internal and external teams on larger and more complex retainer proposals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the credibility to operate effectively at senior levels.
  • A genuine interest in commerce, technology and the changing needs of retailers.
