Location: Leatherhead - Hybrid working – 3 office days, 2 remotely.
Rate: £60p/hr Ltd – Outside IR35
Offshore / Hull / Naval Architect / Structural Engineer with a minimum of 10 years' experience, with excellent technical and practical engineering skills and the ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate, and on schedule.
Under general supervision, the candidate will be responsible for performing global and partial analysis of FPSO hull structures, carrying out design of scantlings, bulkheads, living quarters and topside module support stools.
Detailed knowledge of SESAM Genie is required, as well as previous experience in using Nauticus Hull.
Knowledge of the latest revisions of DNV Rules and standards & NORSOK codes is a must.
Previous experience of working on FPSO hulls in harsh water environments is necessary.
Knowledge of undertaking stochastic fatigue analysis to DNV standards is an advantage.
Recent Equinor experience would be an advantage.
