Maintaining full familiarity with company policies, directives and procedures and suggesting improvements to project planning methods, procedures, and practices to the Department Chief.

Developing the resource loaded project baseline schedule and S-curve to monitor and report project progress, also playing an active part in scope management.

Creating project specific planning procedures where necessary

Monitoring the Planning manhour spend against the budget on assigned projects. Advising the Department Chief of future manpower requirements making every effort to stay within budget.

Ensuring that the project planning network is set-up in such a way that it can exchange information with the Electronic Document Management System and SAP if required.

Maintaining full familiarity with all relevant software applications associated with planning (including relevant parts of the EDMS if required).

Assisting in preparation of proposals and making presentations to clients as directed by the Department Chief.

Degree in a related subject.

Experience of working as a Planning Engineer on projects in the energy sector.

Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, MS project, MS office applications.
