Part-time role, 3 days per week, 100% attendance required at Leatherhead office. Aramco experience highly desirable.

Required to support the Environmental & Social Impact Assessment and other environmental design and engineering work for an onshore energy security / traditional energies facility expansion.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • As part of a project team, perform all conventional aspects of Environmental scope area.
  • Developing environmental deliverables such as Environmental Philosophies, Environmental Impact Identification (ENVID) Reports, Environmental Management Plans, Emissions Inventories, Terms of Reference (ToRs) for workshops and Scopes of Work (SoW) for studies.
  • Supporting studies focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and ensuring alignment with net-zero commitments.
  • Providing expert guidance on environmental compliance, including Best Available Techniques (BAT), and ensuring regulatory adherence throughout project lifecycles.
  • Coordination and liaison with third-party contractors undertaking environmental studies, such as Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) and site baseline surveys.
  • Environmental representation in ENVID and BAT reviews.
  • Managing environmental aspects of projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve environmental objectives.
Skills and experience
  • Skills gained through undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including final year design projects and any work placements.
  • Experience working on oil and gas design projects.
  • Experiences in Wastewater Treatment and Energy transition projects (such as CCSU) are desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to create reports, analyze data, and present information effectively.
  • Experience with GIS and air dispersion modelling software is desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience, with average experience ranging from 6-10 years.
Educational experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (BEng or BSc) in Environmental Engineering or a related field such as Chemical Engineering.
  • Membership in a relevant engineering, science, or environmental institute.
