A Subsea Control Systems engineer will support Eni’s worldwide offshore deepwater projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and completing large EPCI contracts for offshore projects across all phases.
- Ensuring design of Subsea Control Systems meets project requirements, codes, and best practices while reducing costs and risks.
- Preparing technical documentation (data sheet, functional specifications, preliminary electrical and hydraulic analysis, etc.) for all phases.
- Following up supplier calls for tender & selection (qualifications, clarifications, recommendations, etc.).
- Reviewing and approving FEED, tender, and detailed engineering performed by contractors.
- Acting as Company Representative for all activities related to Subsea Control Systems.
- Applying company internal standards and HSEQ policies.
- Collaborating with Subsea Systems department and other disciplines.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as Subsea Control Systems engineer across all project phases (concept to execution).
- Experience in technical design from preliminary engineering through detailed design.
- Experience in Umbilicals System and Subsea Chemical Injection System design and operation.
- Experience in Design and Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, Risk Assessment.
- Experience in supervising contractors and vendors equipment and deliverables.
- Experience supporting projects onshore/offshore testing – Control System FAT, EFAT, Integration with DCS/ICCS.
- Familiar with relevant international codes and subsea standards, especially API 17F.
- Experience assisting during control system pre‑commissioning activities onboard installation vessel, FPSO or Platform.
- Minimum BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of AutoCad.
- Extensive experience in Subsea Control System design, testing, commissioning during project execution (advantage).
