Sell extraordinary events in one of London’s most iconic venues. At the Swan & Underglobe, we create unforgettable experiences beneath the skyline of Shakespeare’s Globe. From elegant corporate dinners to private celebrations and high-profile events, our spaces host moments people remember for years.
We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Event Sales Manager to lead venue sales across the Swan & Underglobe, with a particular focus on the Balcony Room. This is a role for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing business, and turning enquiries into exceptional events.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing event enquiries from initial contact through to confirmation
- Creating tailored proposals, quotes, and contracts based on client needs and budgets
- Advising clients on menus, wines, AV, entertainment, timings, and room layouts
- Building strong relationships with corporate and private clients
- Working closely with operations teams to ensure flawless event delivery
- Coordinating with third-party suppliers and external partners
- Maximising revenue opportunities through strategic upselling
- Managing CRM updates, invoices, and event administration accurately
- Contributing ideas to improve sales processes and grow venue revenue
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or venue management
- Strong commercial awareness with confidence negotiating and closing deals
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience using CRM systems and managing event administration
