We are looking for a part time medical Receptionist for 27 hpw, plus overtime, to join our friendly GP Practice. We are a GP Practice in Bolton with a vacancy to recruit a Medical Receptionist. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, hardworking, friendly person who is keen to work to a high standard providing excellent patient care. The ability to listen, to have empathy and kindness towards patients & colleagues alike is essential. To be able to work quickly and efficiently in an extremely busy reception environment is a necessity. Willingness to train & develop with a flexible approach to work load. Working as part of a team and own initiative is required.
It is essential that the candidate is flexible as shift patterns are subject to regular change in addition to compulsory overtime to cover colleague annual leave and sickness. The successful candidate must be available to work between the hours of 8 am & 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Contracted weekly hours of work will be as follows and are non-negotiable.
Monday 1 pm to 6.30 pm
Tuesday 1.30 pm to 6.30 pm
Wednesday 8 am to 1.30 pm
Thursday 1pm to 6.30 pm
Friday 1pm to 6.30 pm

In addition occasional Saturday morning reception cover will also be required.

About us
We are a very busy general practice in Bolton not far from the town centre with a patient list size around 9800. We have a team of 3 GP Partners, 1 part-time salaried GP, ANP and a Nursing team of 5. We have a efficient Administration and Reception team.
We also benefit from additional roles through our Primary Care Network including 2x GP, Mental health practitioners, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, and pharmacy team.
We value team work and comradely throughout the practice.
We are high achievers in QOF and BQC and have a good CQC rating in all areas.

Qualifications
- – GCSE A-C English & Maths or equivalent
- – Smart Appearance
- – Pleasant & Professional manner
- – Good IT skills and experience, knowledge of Microsoft applications

- – Ability to keep-up within a busy environment calmly and professionally
- – NVQ level 2-3
- – Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- – Previous experience working within a GP practice
