An exciting opportunity has opened up at Swan Family for caring, motivated, and child-focused individuals to join our friendly and supportive team as Family Contact Supervisor at Croydon children's centre. You'll be part of a dynamic, compassionate team delivering a vital service that helps families build and maintain positive relationships in a safe, nurturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Support and supervise family time between children and their birth families, both in our centres and out in the community.
- Observe and record sessions in a sensitive and factual way, ensuring that every child's experience is positive and safe.
- Liaise with social workers and professionals, sharing observations and raising any concerns when needed.
- Transport and accompany children and young people safely to and from contact sessions.
- Promote safeguarding at all times, following Swan Family's policies and procedures.
- Attend meetings and training, ensuring you're always growing in your role.
You’ll be joining a creative, supportive, and child-centred team that takes pride in providing excellent care and being a positive force in each child's life.
What We're Looking For
- Empathetic, calm, and non-judgemental in your approach.
- A great communicator, able to build trust with children, families, and professionals.

Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Children and Young People's Workforce or a related field.
- An up-to-date DBS for working with children and adults (we can help with this if needed).
Desirable:
- A full driving licence and access to a car (helpful but not essential).
