Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? Swan Family is offering an exciting opportunity for a Family Visitation Supervisor to join our warm and supportive team in Coventry. You will be working within our Children and Family Contact Centre and out in the community, helping to create safe and positive environments where families can connect, grow, and thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting children and young people by transporting and escorting them safely to and from family contact sessions
- Observing and supervising contact sessions between children and their families
- Safeguarding children by risk-managing and intervening appropriately when needed
- Writing clear, factual observation reports within agreed timescales
- Attending planning meetings and reviews to support children’s progress
- Taking part in training and supervision to continue developing your skills
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Caring, patient, and approachable, with a calm nature
- Skilled in report writing and attention to detail
- Confident in managing challenging situations and resolving conflict
- Knowledgeable about safeguarding and passionate about keeping children safe
What You’ll Need:
Essential:
- A minimum Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Children and Young People
- A current DBS for working with adults and children (we can help with this if needed)
Desirable:
- A driving licence and access to a car (not essential)
