We are looking for a highly capable graduate to join our team at an exciting time of growth as a Carbon & Energy Analyst. This entry-level role is designed for a motivated and personable graduate with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine interest in carbon, sustainability, and data‑led decision‑making. You will play a key role in supporting carbon measurement, reporting, and verification, working closely with internal teams, external clients, verifiers, and regulators. With structured training and hands‑on project exposure, this role offers a clear progression pathway to becoming a Carbon Consultant within 12–24 months.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, professional working relationships with clients, verifiers, and regulators.
- Ensure clients understand their carbon reporting responsibilities across mandatory schemes, including EU ETS, UK ETS, ETS2, SECR, and ESOS.
- Support clients through the monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) process (onsite and virtual).
- Collect, process, analyse, and present complex energy and emissions data to submit Annual Emission & Activity Level Reports.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and verbally, to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the team while also managing your own tasks and deadlines independently.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Research and write website content, including blog articles.
- Attend industry events and support networking.
About you:
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (or to graduate in 2026).
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and a keen analytical eye.
- Personable and confident communicator with the ability to engage with clients and present information clearly.
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support colleagues across projects.
- Experience with data tools (e.g. Excel).
- A genuine interest in carbon, sustainability, and environmental performance.
- A Clean UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
- Ability to reliably commute to our office (HD7), or plan to relocate before starting work.
- Chemistry/Chemical Engineering knowledge or background is advantageous.
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
