About the Role
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to join our creative agency and work across a varied portfolio of clients. The core of the role is SEO and Google Ads, so you'll need strong practical experience delivering, managing and optimising organic and paid search performance. You'll also manage website content through WordPress, including creating and updating pages, landing pages and blogs as part of wider SEO and digital strategies. You'll work directly with clients and alongside specialists across social media, creative, brand and web to deliver joined-up digital activity. This is a hands-on role. You'll need demonstrable experience across SEO and Google Ads and be able to discuss real examples of work you've personally delivered and the results you've achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver SEO strategies, including technical, on-page and content-led optimisation
- Create, manage and optimise Google Ads, particularly paid search campaigns
- Research keywords, competitors and search opportunities
- Plan, write and optimise blogs and website content in line with SEO strategy
- Manage and update client websites, pages and landing pages through WordPress
- Use GA4, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager to analyse performance and identify opportunities
- Monitor leads, conversions, acquisition costs and return on marketing spend
- Translate client objectives into practical digital strategies and campaign plans
- Report on performance and clearly communicate recommendations to clients
- Work alongside our social media, creative, brand and web specialists on integrated campaigns
- Use AI tools effectively as part of day-to-day digital marketing, research, analysis and content workflows
About You
- 3+ years' professional digital marketing experience, ideally within an agency or similarly varied environment
- Strong, demonstrable experience in SEO, and managing Google Ads and paid search
- Practical experience managing content through WordPress
- Experience writing and optimising blogs and website content
- Good working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager
- Experience using AI tools effectively within digital marketing workflows
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into practical insight and recommendations
- A good understanding of lead gen, conversions, CPA and ROAS/ROMS
- Confidence working directly with clients and managing multiple accounts and priorities
