The Head of Production leads the delivery of SWAMP’s most ambitious work—turning bold creative ideas into unforgettable, real-world experiences. This role is about control and creativity in equal measure. You’ll oversee every stage of production, from early feasibility through to flawless execution, ensuring our projects are delivered to the highest standard, on time and on budget. You’ll set the production vision, build the right teams around each project and create the conditions for brilliant work to happen. You’ll be a steady, experienced presence across the agency—bringing clarity, problem-solving and momentum when it matters most. Working closely with creative, client services and partners, you’ll make sure our ideas don’t just live up to expectations, but exceed them. We’re looking for someone who thrives on complexity, leads from the front and knows how to make the extraordinary happen.
- Production leadership
- Lead, mentor and inspire the production team, setting clear standards and expectations across all pitches and projects
- Build and shape high-performing teams, scaling resources to match ambition and demand
- Create a culture of ownership, accountability and calm delivery under pressure
- Act as the senior production voice across the agency
- Senior Leadership team collaboration
- Work closely with the SLT to shape agency direction, resourcing and growth plans
- Contribute to business strategy, ensuring production is set up to support future ambition
- Provide clear, confident counsel on feasibility, risk and delivery from the outset
- Define how projects are delivered from a production perspective—from initial approach through to execution
- Establish best-in-class production processes, tools and ways of working
- Ensure early-stage thinking is grounded in what’s possible, without limiting creativity
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, Health and Safety partners and industry bodies to ensure SWAMP’s methodologies and ways of working are consistently held to the highest production standards
- Campaign & project management
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of all experiential projects and campaigns by management of the production team
- Lead the largest scale projects where resourcing gaps demand so
- Ensure timelines, scopes and outputs are clearly defined and consistently met
- Maintain oversight across multiple complex workstreams, keeping everything moving forward
- Act as a senior spokesperson for the agency in conversations relating to production and delivery
- Participate in key client meetings, pitches and reviews where production leadership is required
- Budget & commercial management
- Own production budgets across projects, ensuring accuracy, control and transparency
- Oversee production budgets where your team members are managing smaller projects
- Balance creative ambition with commercial reality
- Identify efficiencies, manage margins and support overall project profitability
- Secure supplier rebates and efficiencies with our highest value partners
- Creative & strategic collaboration
- Partner with creative and strategy teams to shape ideas that are both bold and deliverable
- Bring a production mindset into early conversations to unlock smarter solutions
- Champion innovation, new technologies and unexpected ways to deliver experiences
- Build and maintain a trusted network of suppliers, fabricators and specialists
- Negotiate contracts and ensure partners deliver to the highest standards

- Oversee onsite delivery to ensure flawless execution under real-world conditions
- Lead teams through build, live operation and de-rig phases
- Troubleshoot calmly and decisively when challenges arise
- Risk, compliance & governance
- Ensure all projects meet health & safety, legal and regulatory requirements
- Identify and mitigate risks across all stages of production
- Put robust processes in place to protect both the team and the client
- Reporting & performance
- Track and report on project performance, delivery and financial outcomes
- Capture learnings and continuously improve how we work
- Provide clear updates to stakeholders at every stage
- Play an active role in shaping SWAMP’s culture and ways of working

- Experience managing substantial budgets, with clear ownership of financial performance and margin
- Strong background in end-to-end production, including build, technical delivery, logistics and live environments
- Experience leading and developing production teams, including freelancers and project-based resource
- Demonstrated experience working with senior clients and stakeholders
- Extensive experience managing suppliers, fabricators and specialist partners
- Solid understanding of health & safety, risk management and compliance within live environments
