This firm has ambitious plans for expansion and aims to be among the UK's Top 100 accountancy practices. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of SME clients, delivering accounting, tax, and advisory services.
- Supervise, review, and support the completion of statutory accounts, management accounts, tax returns, and bookkeeping.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team, promoting high standards and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and proactive advice to clients, fostering long-term relationships.
- Contribute to departmental operations, including financial planning, recruitment, and process development.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant - ACA (ICAEW), ACCA, or equivalent.
- Experience in a UK accountancy practice as a Client Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar role.
- Managerial or mentoring experience is beneficial.
- Proficient in cloud-based accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Organised, commercially astute, and able to lead in a client-focused setting.
