You will be joining an ambitious, innovative and fast-growing regional accountancy practice based in Warwickshire.

As Head of Tax, reporting to the Board of Directors, your remit is straight-forward;

  • Deliver bespoke mixed tax services with a focus on helping clients to achieve their business and personal goals
  • Spearhead the development and growth of the tax offering including building your own team
  • Grow your own career to Tax Director and beyond.

The current client portfolio is rich and varied with unlimited scope for development.

This is a rare and somewhat unique opportunity that would suit either an existing Head of Tax or aspiring Tax Manager / Senior Manager so get in touch or apply today to find out more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Head up the tax department as part of the senior management team
  • Deliver tax advisory, planning, investigations and compliance services to a portfolio of SME businesses and HNW individuals
  • Grow the department and build your own tax team
  • Be the ‘go-to’ person for stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant / tax professional – CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
  • Previous tax advisory experience ideally gained within an accountancy practice
  • Technically strong with experience advising and supporting SME businesses and high net worth (HNW) individuals
  • Commercial acumen and desire to progress both personally and professionally.
