We are looking for an Administrative Officer to provide administration support within our Leisure & Technical Services teams - with particular focus on the Cemeteries Service. The role will deal with the general administrative duties associated with the Cemeteries team including taking bookings for internments, liaising between funeral directors and Council's contractors, ensuring the receipt and completion of all the appropriate documentation and subsequent records, ensuring collection of fees and assisting with general enquiries and allocation of service requests.

Requirements / Qualifications:
- Excellent understanding of Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Epilog or other burial service software, Uniform and Agresso would be an advantage; training can be provided.
- Strong customer care and communication skills, and analytical skills; the role includes answering calls and/or face-to-face contact with members of the public, Councillors and colleagues at all levels.
