We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our Contracts team on a fixed term basis to provide administrative and technical support to the key Council contracts. In the role of Contracts Technical Officer, you will be providing technical advice in relation to the waste and recycling, street cleansing and public convenience contracts, you will support the contract management process and provide excellent administrative support to the service area. This is a part time role working 30 hours per week on a fixed term contract for a period of 8 months. Hybrid working will apply to this role.
Key Responsibilities and Profile
- You will be an organised and proactive administrator with good attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage a busy workload.
- You will have good working knowledge of Microsoft IT packages and experience of writing correspondence of varying forms, eg letters/emails.
- You will have excellent communication skills and be at ease speaking to customers on the telephone.
- Contracts experience in a local government setting an advantage but not essential.
