We are looking for a Commissioning Support Officer to provide administrative support to the Commissioning team. You’ll support the delivery of commissioning and procurement activity, helping ensure processes are efficient, compliant and transparent. You will maintain records of how the Council spends money on services, and ensure these records are available for businesses and residents to view.
Key duties:
- Maintaining commissioning and contract information, including contract register.
- Supporting procurement exercises by adding projects and uploading documents to the e-tendering system.
- Administering record compliance processes such as waivers, contract extensions and IR35 checks.
- Responding to procurement enquiries and carrying out supplier checks.
- Keeping procurement records, intranet content and statutory information up to date.
- Preparing information for managers, arranging meetings and taking minutes.
- Ensuring work complies with financial regulations, audit recommendations and GDPR.
This role is part time, working 17 hours per week, on a permanent basis with the hours split over between three to five days depending on the candidate. We offer a hybrid working arrangement, combining time in the office with the flexibility to also work from home.
