Supply Teacher

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during short-term teacher absence
• Take the register and ensure a calm and focused learning environment
• Distribute and oversee the completion of pre-set work – no planning or marking required
• Maintain classroom discipline in line with the school\’s behaviour policy
• Support students in staying on task and managing their time effectively

Qualifications

• Confident individuals with strong classroom presence
• Ability to manage behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with secondary-aged children is desirable but not essential
• Flexible, proactive, and reliable
