An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Officer to join our central services team based in Sittingbourne. This is a part-time role of 22.5 hours per week, and we are happy to discuss which days these are worked.

As an HR Officer, you will be providing an effective advisory and support function to schools within Swale Academies Trust. You will be the key point of contact for new, current, and exiting staff in relation to their pay and pensions matters, as well as providing Headteachers and other senior leaders with advice and guidance on employee relations matters in consultation with the HR Business Partners.

This opportunity will challenge and develop your HR knowledge along with your organisational skills, so drive, enthusiasm, and creativity are essential, as is a level 5 CIPD or working towards one. You will be required to have up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice along with an understanding of staff pay and payroll processes.

You will be joining a supportive and collaborative HR Team where you can develop your HR career. Previous experience of working within the education sector would be an advantage but it is not essential.
