Permanent - Full-time - Office-based position
Salary £27,000 per annum
Are you an experienced HR Administrator ready for your next career step, but looking for the right environment to help you make it? We know that stepping up from administration to advisory can feel like a massive leap and we want to invest in the talent of the future.
We are looking for a motivated HR professional who has mastered the administrative fundamentals and is eager to learn.
How We Will Support Your Development
- Dedicated Mentorship: You will shadow experienced HR professionals on complex employee relations cases, learning how to handle tricky situations first-hand before managing them independently.
- Structured Progression Pathway: We map out your career goals early, setting clear, achievable milestones to help you transition safely from coordinator to trusted advisor.
- Skills-Based Training: Receive direct coaching on advanced HR skills, including conducting investigations, employment law updates, and data analytics.
Your Main Responsibilities
- First-Line Advice: Act as the first point of contact for employees and line managers, providing guidance on company policies and low-level HR queries as your confidence grows.
- Employee Relations Support: Manage the administrative side of case management (disciplinary, grievance, absence) while gradually taking the lead on low-risk meetings.
- HR Systems & Reporting: Keep our HRIS accurate and use the data to create meaningful reports on turnover, absence, and engagement.
- Project Involvement: Contribute directly to wider HR initiatives, such as well-being strategies and performance review rollouts.
What We Are Looking For
- Solid HR Administration Foundation: You already have proven experience managing core HR administrative processes in a fast-paced environment.
- A Desire to Learn: You actively seek feedback, ask questions, and are highly motivated to expand your HR knowledge.
- Strong Communication: Empathy, active listening, and the ability to build trust with people at all levels of the business.
- Foundational Knowledge: A basic understanding of employment law principles and a desire to deepen this expertise.
- Qualifications: Level 3 HR qualification is desirable.
