Responsibilities
- Complete apprenticeship studies by learning and developing your skills, knowledge and behaviours to work towards successful graduation.
- Gain a vast range of useful experiences and skills working with cutting-edge technology to keep the business running smoothly by resolving hardware, software, server and infrastructure issues for the operations network.
- Work towards the Information Communications Technician (Support Technician pathway) apprenticeship Level 3 standard.
- Engage in on-the-job training in an Amazon Fulfilment Centre, virtual classroom/online learning, and mentoring from IT team members.
- Grow abilities in organization, prioritization, data and problem-solving techniques, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
- Participate in projects and initiatives as knowledge and skills increase, building a portfolio of evidence towards the apprenticeship.
- Attend workshops across the apprenticeship duration (online/virtual delivery) and may undertake internal training to develop Amazon-related skills and knowledge.

What you will receive
- You will have dedicated time to focus on studies to stay on track and work toward successful completion.
- Upon completion, you may apply for relevant roles across the business.
- Workshops include online delivery by a training provider; there may be opportunities to undertake internal training to support you in developing Amazon-related skills and knowledge.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates should be 18 years or over and have the right to live and work in England for the entire duration of the 18-month apprenticeship.
- Lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years.
- Resident in England for the entire duration of the program.
- Not registered to study on a UK government funded course ending August 2025 or later.
- 3 x GCSEs at grade 4-9 (A-C) or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Amazon operates 24/7; you must have flexibility in working hours and shift patterns to provide cover for operational requirements as this role may include working weekends and/or night shifts.
- This opportunity is designed for those new to the field. If you have 2+ years of IT experience or related qualifications, consider other roles at amazon.jobs.
