Swagelok Ltd is hiring skilled CNC Machine Operators. We are looking for an experienced CNC machinist on our day shift (7 am – 3.15 pm, working 5 days a week).
Responsibilities:
- Set up and run one core primary machine platform type and operate other platform type(s).
- Troubleshoot problems on the core primary machine platform type during setup and run.
- Recognise and solve non-routine problems on the core primary machine platform type.
- Contribute to the achievement of department, plant and company objectives.
- Perform day-to-day tasks in the most cost-effective manner.
- Ensure a quality product is processed according to schedule.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements placed on the plant.
- Support the company operating plan along with Swagelok’s mission, vision and values.
- Organise day-to-day manning of the department.
Qualifications and expectations:
- Experience as a CNC machinist, with the ability to set up and run at least one core machine platform and operate other platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot during setup and production, and to recognise and solve non-routine problems.
- Strong team player with a focus on customer service, quality, and cost effectiveness.
- Day shift availability: 7:00 am – 3:15 pm, five days a week.
- Commitment to working in a manufacturing environment and adhering to regulatory requirements.
