An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre graduate to join a leading global executive search firm specialising in financial services. The firm works with some of the world's leading financial institutions, advising clients on senior appointments across investment management, investment banking, technology, infrastructure and C-suite leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate to begin a career in executive search, working alongside experienced Partners and Researchers on senior-level assignments across the global financial services sector.
As an Executive Search Researcher, you will play a key role in identifying and assessing senior talent for confidential and strategically important assignments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting detailed research into companies, markets, sectors and senior professionals
- Identifying and mapping high-calibre candidates across global financial markets
- Building and maintaining candidate networks
- Supporting Partners and senior consultants on executive search assignments
- Conducting initial candidate conversations and assessing suitability
- Developing a strong understanding of financial services markets and the organisations operating within them
- Preparing detailed candidate profiles, market maps and research reports
- Engaging with senior professionals and developing long-term relationships
- Managing multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Supporting the team throughout the full executive search process
What We're Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree or above from a Russell Group university
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine interest in business, financial markets and people
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Confidence communicating with senior professionals
- A highly organised and methodical approach
- Commercial awareness and a strong work ethic
- Resilience, ambition and a desire to succeed
- The ability to work effectively in a demanding, high-performance environment
- Previous recruitment or executive search experience is not required. We are more interested in your intellectual ability, communication skills, curiosity and ambition than previous industry experience.
Executive search combines research, commercial thinking and relationship building. You will gain exposure to senior executives and decision-makers while developing a detailed understanding of some of the world's leading financial institutions and markets.
