An exciting opportunity has just opened up within this disruptive company. With a client list of the world’s leading content creators from Disney to CBS News, they are looking for a Support Engineer with an attitude towards resolving issues that tiers of support have escalated.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Handling Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines.
- Deploying Azure VMs (Windows Server and Linux) in a highly available environment.
- Performing configuration management and disaster recovery tasks on your new environment.
- Managing and monitoring Microsoft Azure IaaS deployments by Log Analytics and Log Search to drill down into the most important data in your IaaS systems.
- Using PowerShell to deploy resources and repeatable deployments with ARM templates.
- Working on Microsoft Azure Networking.
- Designing virtual networks to support workloads with the highest security and performance.
- Exploring configuring hybrid connectivity between on-premises environments and Azure, and how to monitor network performance to comply with service-level agreements.
- Automating deployment and scale of Azure IaaS solutions, automating and scaling Azure deployments.
- Diving into automation technology options within Azure.
- Keeping learning the new ways to use PowerShell and JSON templates to define and deploy services to Azure, and how to scale resources in Azure.
Qualifications
- Azure Certifications: AZ104.
- Azure Active Directory + Conditional access.
- Windows/Azure Virtual Desktop (W/AVD).
- Virtual desktop management tools such as Nerdio.
- Experience in delivering Azure projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager.
- Azure Compute (provisioning/custom templates).
- Azure Network (vnet, subnet, udr, nsg).
- Azure connectivity (S2S VPN and ExpressRoute).
- Azure Storage (blobs and files).
- Azure policy and tagging.
- Azure Cost Management.
- PowerShell.
- Infrastructure as code.
- Experience with automating VM builds on Azure using infrastructure as code.
