We’re looking for an experienced L3 Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance a modern Azure and Microsoft 365 environment. You’ll act as a senior escalation point, ensure security and compliance, and help drive cloud and endpoint modernisation across a regulated financial services setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and secure Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server and Intune/Autopilot
- Support Azure operations including governance, landing zones and cost optimisation
- Maintain and improve Defender, Sentinel and endpoint security posture
- Act as L3 escalation for infrastructure issues across EUC, servers and IAM
- Oversee DR, backups, continuity and incident response
- Work with MSPs, vendors and internal teams to ensure strong service delivery
- Support audits, compliance reporting and regulatory requirements
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, Windows Server
- Knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS and cloud governance
- Experience with Meraki networking (SD‑WAN, WiFi, switching)
- Understanding of regulated environments (FCA, GDPR, audit frameworks)
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder skills
Desirable: AZ‑104, AZ‑305, MS‑102, SC‑300, Meraki CMNA/ECMS, ITIL v4.
The position is hybrid (Manchester based) and pays between £60-80k + bonus + benefits.
