Location & Requirements
This is a site-based position operating from offices in either the Gloucester, London or Manchester region. Candidates must hold active eDV clearance prior to application.
What You'll Bring
- Proven background in Agile, Scrum, or DevOps delivery environments
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks and tooling
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages applied to test automation
- Track record of authoring test plans and producing clear, structured test reporting
- Solid grasp of the systems engineering lifecycle, with demonstrable knowledge of relevant QA methodologies and toolsets
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with CI pipelines and related tooling
- Background in deploying and configuring software in Linux and/or Windows environments
- Ability to evaluate and apply observability, logging, and performance testing approaches
What You'll Do
- Deliver QA activities as an embedded member of an Agile software team
- Own the development and upkeep of automated test frameworks
- Establish and maintain test environments, data sets, and tooling
- Participate in effort estimation for testing activities
- Act as a bridge between the QA function and the broader engineering team to unblock issues
- Contribute to QA documentation using appropriate tooling
- Log defects clearly and collaborate with developers to drive resolution
- Develop and manage both automated and manual test scripts
- Produce testing and release strategies aligned to customer and project requirements
