Job Description We are seeking a talented individual to join the Valuations team in Birmingham. The team is responsible for preparing a wide range of valuations for accounting, tax, and commercial purposes, including business and share valuations, intangible assets (often post-acquisition or for tax purposes), and complex securities such as employee benefit share options, warrants, and management share plans. As Assistant Manager – Valuations, your responsibilities will include: Taking responsibility for various valuation assignments, including analysis, execution, and reporting. Managing teams proactively and understanding clients\’ expectations. Assisting partners and directors with business development, including proposals for new business. Establishing project scope, preparing budgets, and communicating with relevant parties. Supervising team performance and workload. Networking internally and externally to identify new opportunities. Qualifications To be successful, you should have: Significant valuation experience within a leading advisory firm with international clients. Advanced knowledge of valuation methodologies, modeling, and technical skills, with experience in various valuation purposes and contexts. Up-to-date knowledge of valuation methodologies and best practices. Experience managing a team of valuers. Degree-level education or equivalent, with professional qualifications such as CFA or Chartered Accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA) in progress or completed.
