As Senior HR Business Partner in our London team, you will work closely with the HR team and management team to support the delivery of key objectives in the context of the people agenda. Working in partnership with the business you will combine an understanding of the organisation and its context with HR expertise, in order to tailor business solutions and develop effective interventions, to meet organisational needs, now and in the future.
As Senior HR Business Partner you will provide commercially focused and pragmatic solutions for all employment related matters, ensuring people plans and activities are delivered consistently while coaching leaders and managers to foster positive working relationships with employees.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively and commercially as an integral part of business area management teams, influencing the development and delivery of the people strategy in line with the overall business objectives.
- Manage relationships and expectations to provide proactive, commercially sound insights and flexible solutions to address challenges across the organisation.
- Advise and coach managers through a range of complex employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters working closely with the HR Adviser team.
- Cover for Head of HR, as required, including providing advice to GEC members as a key contact.
- Support the effective implementation of large/complex change management initiatives, including acquisitions and business transformation projects, working in partnership with Specialist HR teams to deliver projects minimising ER impacts and mitigating HR risk.
- Coach and mentor HR Business Partners for their personal development and continued effective business support.
- Create and contribute to Policy and Process development to ensure HR processes and practices are fully compliant with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Design and deliver Management Information (MI), interpret results to identify trends which translate into HR initiatives, present and interpret data to senior management.
- Help build a high-performance culture, which reinforces our values and behaviours and is underpinned by strong performance management capability.
- Be a deep technical specialist in one or more areas of HR, e.g., policy, process, change.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and experience in resolving complex people-related issues.
- Understanding of the regulations impacting Professional Services.
- Strong commercial and business acumen to assess risk and opportunities for the organisation.
- A proven track record of managing complexity and change.
- Experience of operating effectively at a senior level with strong influencing skills and ability to challenge appropriately.
- Ability to work at pace, with ambiguity, and deliver against established personal and team targets.
- Highly articulate with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management across all levels within the organisation.
- Level 7 CIPD Qualified, or equivalent.
- Evidence of continuous personal development (CPD) within the HR field.
