We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Salisbury or London. In this role, you will support the PMS Business & Finance Support Manager and wider team to ensure the smooth running and optimisation of our Practice Management System (PMS). Working collaboratively across the business, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial data, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring system usage aligns with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations of the PMS Business Support team, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting processes and procedures.
- Produce and coordinate management information and reporting as required.
- Assist in reducing aged Work in Progress (WIP) balances across the firm.
- Monitor and report on Partner and senior staff leavers, ensuring client and engagement reallocations are completed seamlessly.
- Provide support for audits by preparing and supplying relevant data and documentation.
- Assist with month-end processes, including chasing outstanding approvals and draft bills.
- Respond to data and reporting requests from the wider business using Excel and Power BI.
- Manage the e-billing inbox, resolving any issues to ensure timely and accurate billing to clients.
- Support KPI tracking and service level reporting using ServiceNow data.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a professional services or financial services environment, or a similar commercial environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of management accounting principles.
- High level of attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- The ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
- A level or equivalent qualifications.
Desired
- Strong Excel skills; experience with Power BI is desirable (training can be provided).
- Experience with STAR PMS is advantageous but not essential.
