Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand customer base and market reach.
- Take ownership of the contract sales portfolio, driving profitability and efficiency.
Customer and Supplier Management:
- Manage and develop opportunities with existing customers, ensuring retention and growth.
- Identify and secure new customer business to grow market share.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure optimal terms and supply reliability.
Operations and Coordination:
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to deliver on customer orders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with colleagues in trading, finance, and warehousing to optimize sales execution.
- Oversee all administration tasks associated with contract sales using systems and Excel.
Team Collaboration and Development:
- Lead by example to inspire a high-performing team culture.
- Support and advise colleagues across the business
- Support wider company initiatives and projects when required.
Analysis and Reporting:
- Use strong analytical skills to process and interpret large amounts of data, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and key insights for senior management.
