Are you an experienced Adult Social Worker with a passion for mental health? This is an excellent opportunity to join Waltham Forest Council's Integrated Mental Health and Wellness Team, where you'll play a vital role in supporting adults to achieve positive, person-centred outcomes.
The Role
- Complete Care Act Assessments and statutory reviews.
- Undertake safeguarding enquiries and interventions.
- Provide care coordination under the CPA Framework.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 25 service users.
- Participate in the team duty rota, including screening, triaging, and managing new referrals.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred mental health services.
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Experience within Adult Mental Health Services.
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act, safeguarding legislation, and the CPA Framework.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and case management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
