SW Locums is recruiting a Senior Social Worker / Practitioner to join the Children's Assessment Team at the London Borough of Haringey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a respected service where your experience and leadership will make a real difference from day one.

The Offer

  • £37.54 per hour (Umbrella)
  • Full-time locum position
  • Monday to Friday
  • ASAP start
  • Initial hybrid working arrangement:
    • Around 2 office days per week
    • Every fourth week is a duty week, requiring office attendance for the full week

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be at the forefront of children’s services, completing high-quality assessments, managing complex referrals and ensuring children receive timely support and protection. Working alongside partner agencies, you’ll use your expertise to make sound professional decisions and deliver positive outcomes for children and families.

We’re Looking For

  • A qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Strong Children’s Social Work experience
  • Previous experience within an Assessment Team is highly desirable
  • Excellent safeguarding, assessment and risk management skills
  • Confidence managing complex cases and working within statutory timescales
