Enfield Council is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Services Reablement Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults in regaining and maintaining independence following illness, injury, deterioration, or hospital discharge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete strengths-based occupational therapy assessments
  • Develop person-centred reablement plans focused on independence and wellbeing
  • Recommend equipment, assistive technology, and adaptations
  • Provide moving and handling advice to service users, carers, and staff
  • Support hospital discharge and prevent escalation of care needs
  • Work closely with social workers, health professionals, and partner agencies
  • Maintain accurate case records and apply safeguarding principles at all times

Requirements

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration
  • Experience within Adult Social Care or Reablement services
  • Strong knowledge of the Care Act, safeguarding, and Mental Capacity legislation
  • Ability to manage a varied and fast-paced caseload
  • Enhanced DBS required
